Thank you for a great day yesterday. Seven lifers. Especially the Forest Falcon, the Mountain Gem and the Rufous-capped Warbler were great sightings. Unfortunately, I won’t be able to go with you on the 29th. I am going back to Canada on the 30th and have a lot to do.I have to get a covid test one day before the flight as regulations to enter Canada. Also, have to pack and it is my last day with family here. There are no direct flights from Monterrey to Canada. I have to take three flights via Mexico City and Vancouver and Calgary to get home over two days. So don’t want to start out being tired before I leave. I really enjoyed our trips together. Thank you so very much. I will be back one day. I have family here and this is my third visit to Monterrey. So hope to see you again one day.

Thanks for the complete bird list and the links to all of the check sheets. They have made it very easy for me to bring my Life List up to date.

Marilyn you and Leonardo did a fantastic job of providing us with a wonderful birding experience for three days. I was able to add fourteen (14) new life birds to my list making a total of 614 – twice as many as I hoped for. I think David add about 37 or 38 new lifers. You did a wonderful job of preparing the itinerary getting us to all the places in a timely manner. I say again GREAT JOB!

I have gone birding with Marilyn and Leonardo on two different occasions years apart. We had two lovely trips in the mountains and wetlands outside Monterrey and saw dozens of species, including many lifers for me. They are extremely competent at what they’re doing and very friendly guides!

Excellent birding experience, every place they took me was above and beyond my expectations. They are very good with all the songs and calling them in by imitation, not playback. We saw all the endemic species and many more!!

I had the pleasure of birding with Marilyn and Leonardo a couple years ago and they were amazing guides. Their love for the birds shines through and they are passionate about the Maroon-fronted Parrots which was my #1 target. They have amazing attention to detail and it was such a joy to get a series of eBird lists emailed to me so all I had to do was add them to my account. We spent a very long day and they didn’t give up until we had all the birds that were my major targets. Lovely couple to hang out with too!

I am one of the people who likes jays and goes around the world looking for them. The Mexican Jay and Green Jay were at the top of my list, and I’m very thrilled that I was able to see them. I spent 3 days with Marilyn and Leonardo. They even took me to taste authentic Mexican food. Without a doubt, I will plan to go with them again to see the majestic Maroon-fronted Parrot.

I birded with them for 3 days and we never saw or heard a bird they couldn’t identify!! They are simply amazing at what they do!! They are also bilingual in Spanish and English making things even better!! I can not recommend them more!!

They are fantastic guides! They are experts and truly spread their passion for observing birds in their habitat, in addition to being able to enjoy nature in those beautiful places. The best in Monterrey, Mexico.
